Newest firstThe corrosion of metals in acidic environments remains a significant challenge, driving the search for sustainable and eco-friendly inhibitors derived from natural sources. This study evaluates the corrosion inhibition potential of three extracts from Cannabis sativa L., namely ethanol extract (EET), hexane extract (EHX), and dichloromethane extract (EDM), for mild steel in a 1 M HCl acidic medium. The investigati…
Open article record in new tab ↗A series of new N,N'-diarylureas is reported as potential cannabinoid-1 (CB-1) receptor inhibitors. The synthesis of the new N,N'-diarylureas is achieved from the reaction of two substituted anilines with the aid of triphosgene. One aniline carries a pyrazol-1-yl or 1H-1,2,3-triazolyl or 2H-1,2,3-triazolyl propan-2-one group at position-3, while the other aniline is substituted by fluoro, bromo, methoxy, cyano, mo…
The complexation of β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) with cannabidiol (CBD) and Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) was investigated using molecular docking and M062X/6-31G(d,p) calculations. The calculations suggested two possible complex formations of 1:1 and 2:1 host-guest molecular ratio of β-CD with CBD and THC. The preferred orientation of all complexes in this study exhibited the hydrogen bonding between hydroxy-substituted…
