Perspectives from women who engaged in prenatal and postpartum cannabis use in a U.S. State with legal non-medical use
Abstract Diverse interviewee perspectives on pregnancy-postpartum cannabis use are needed. Interviewees felt cannabis use could be safe but hesitated to talk with providers. They wondered about long-term effects of cannabis use on their infant. They attempted to mitigate transmission via breastmilk. Results indicated a need for provider education about cannabis during pregnancy.
