Attenuation of early phase inflammation by cannabidiol prevents pain and nerve damage in rat osteoarthritis
Abstract The nonpsychoactive cannabis-derivative cannabidiol (CBD) reduced nociceptor activity and pain in end-stage osteoarthritis. Prophylactic treatment with CBD prevented joint neuropathy and chronic neuropathic pain.
