TIMELESS deficiency sensitizes thyroid cancer to cisplatin treatment via the DNA damage repair pathway
Abstract DNA damage repair (DDR) pathway was activated in thyroid cancer under cisplatin treatment. TIMELESS, a circadian rhythm gene, was correlated with the cisplatin sensitivity in thyroid cancer. TIMELESS knockdown could suppress the activation of DDR pathway. 4.TIMELESS deficiency significantly enhanced the efficacy of cisplatin treatment in vitro and in vivo.
