Protein complex nanoparticles reinforced with industrial hemp essential oil: Characterization and application for shelf-life extension of Rainbow trout fillets
Abstract Industrial hemp essential oil was successfully reinforced in formed nanoparticles. Coating controlled the microbial growth of fish during storage. The coated fishes retarded the increase of oxidation during storage. Coating led to an extension in the shelf life of Rainbow trout fillets.
