Abstract Cannabidiol (CBD) is a non-psychoactive component of cannabis that has been studied as a potential therapy for chronic pain. CBD attenuates behavioral hypersensitivities in models of neuropathic pain, and promotes production of bioactive lipids (e.g., anandamide), altering lipid signaling.
