Consumption patterns and withdrawal symptoms in dual cannabis-tobacco users in Spain: Cross-sectional study
Abstract Cannabis and tobacco co-use is common in people starting treatment for cannabis problems. Most participants consumed cannabis mixed with tobacco, often in larger tobacco amounts. Cannabis withdrawal affected three quarters participants, with higher severity in women. Two clinical differed in motivation, withdrawal severity, and tobacco dependence. Findings support integrated and gender-sensitive treatment for cannabis and tobacco use.
