Alexandre Quintas
Alexandre Quintas holds a Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry and is a Senior Associate Professor at Egas Moniz University, Lisbon, Portugal, with over twenty-five years of teaching experience. He is the founder and course leader of the firsts Forensic Sciences BSc and MSc degrees. Dr. Quintas also leads the Forensic and Psychological Sciences Laboratory which promotes a stronger link between scientific achievements and judicial system that better suits contemporary societies. With a background at protein science and molecular mechanism of neurodegeneration, Dr. Quintas' current research is tackling the novel psychoactive substances issue, linking its use to neurodegenerative diseases.
