Dr Amy Corderoy, MD, is a doctor training in psychiatry in NSW, Australia, who is undertaking a PhD through the University of New South Wales examining involuntary psychiatric treatment. Dr Corderoy's research interests include involuntary psychiatric interventions, medical ethics, and the interaction between psychiatry and the law. Prior to working in medicine she was a journalist, and she also holds a BA (Hons) in philosophy (ethics and political philosophy).
