Identification of the pure organic compounds by using conventional chemical and physical methods. 7. Chemical analysis including alkylation, degradation, and (acid and enzymatic) hydrolysis. 8. Physical method including spectroscopic analysis: UV and IR spectrophotometry, Mass spectrometry (MS), and NMR spectroscopy. 9. Use in handling different spectroscopic techniques such as UV (Shimadzu), Bruker 250 MHz for 1D (1H- and 13C-) NMR, and Varian 400 MHz for 1D- and 2D-NMR (HHCOSY, HSQC and HMBC) spectroscopy. 10. Computer skills: DataBase, ISIS and Chemwin Draw, ACD- and MestReC NMR.
