Fábio Edson Mariani
Graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal Institute of São Paulo (IFSP) and in Mechanical Technology: Welding Processes from the State of São Paulo Technology College (FATEC). Holds a master's and doctorate in Materials Science and Engineering from the School of Engineering of São Carlos - University of São Paulo (EESC-USP). Completed a postdoctoral in Production Engineering at EESC-USP. Works as a research doctor at the Center of Competence in Manufacturing (CCM), a laboratory of the Mechanical Engineering Division (IEM) of the Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA), where he works in the prospecting and management of research, development and innovation (RDI) projects in a multidisciplinary and integrated way in the areas of Design, Manufacturing and Monitoring and Control of Transmission Systems. He is a member of the Technical Support Committee (TSC) of the DESCAAL and MISCAE research projects, which are part of Line IV of the MOVER Program, working in cooperation with automobile assemblers, tooling companies, startups, system and raw material suppliers, combining resources to promote the neo-industrialization of the automotive sector (the 'Research projects' section of this resume offers additional information). Has experience in the areas of mechanical, materials and production engineering, focusing on the research lines: Sustainable Manufacturing, Sustainable Mobility, Metallic Additive Manufacturing and Hybrid Manufacturing (additive and machining).
