Emeka W. Dumbili

I am a Sociologist with particular interests in health and illness, the sociology of addiction, gender studies, the sociology of public health, environmental (health) sociology/sustainability, social theory, and research methodologies. My research focuses on social, commercial and political determinants of health, gendering of alcohol and other drug use among adolescents and young adults, gender and social identity constructions, and alcohol marketing strategies/politics. I am also researching plastic pollution, sexuality, and reproductive health issues.
