Research and Practical Skills : a-Extraction and isolation of active constituents from plants by different chromatographic methods. b-Structural elucidation of natural products using modern chromatographic techniques (HPLC, GLC…etc.) and spectroscopic methods (IR,UV, MS,1H- and 13C-NMR). c-Plant tissue culture and biotechnology. d- Analysis of medicinal plants and natural products using advanced and modern chromatographic techniques (e.g. HPLC-DAD, HPLC-MS, HPLC-MS/MS, GC-FID, GC-MS). e- Biological evaluation of medicinal plants and natural products. 2. Teaching Experiences : Participated in teaching many practical and theoretical courses at Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Zagazig: Such as Botany & Medicinal Plants, Pharmacognosy-I,II, Phytochemistry-I,II, Applied Pharmacognosy, Phytotherapy, Natural products and Biotechnology. Core Competencies:  Analytical Method Development; and Validation (HPLC-UV/Vis, HPLC-DAD, HPLC-CAD, HPLC-FLD, HPLC-RID, LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, GC-FID, GC-TCD, IC (Ion Chromatography, Dionex ICS6000)), Elemental Analyzer, and TOC analyzers.  Developed novel HPLC, GC and LC-MS methods for carbohydrate, amino acids, organic acids, sugars and alcohols from fermentation processes, and phenolic compound quantification.  Co-investigator in EU-funded projects on bioactive compound extraction and analytical optimization.  Peptide & Protein Analysis in Oral and Solid Dosage Forms.  Targeted and Non-Targeted Metabolomics (LC-MS), for example using aThermo Finnigan LCQ DecaXP ion trap mass spectrometer (Thermo Scientific), UPLC-Synapt XS LC-MS (Waters), and Triple Quadrupole 6420 (Agilent Technology).  GMP/GLP Compliance, SOP Writing; Quality Documentation.  Cross-Functional Collaboration; Scientific Communication.  Data Analysis; and Statistical Modelling (ANOVA, PCA, Minitab, SPSS).
