Peter van der Most
Peter van der Most is a post-doc researcher at the unit of Genetic Epidemiology & Bioinformatics (University Medical Center Groningen). He graduated in 2008 at the University of Groningen (bachelor in Life Science & Technology; master in Behavioural & Cognitive Neuroscience), and is interested in the intersection of biology, medicine and technology. Following graduation, he worked for two years at the department of Behavioural Biology with Prof. Simon Verhulst. There he used meta-analysis to study trade-offs between growth and immunity, and quality and quantity of offspring in birds. Subsequently, did his PhD thesis at the unit of Genetic Epidemiology with Prof. Harold Snieder, working on novel statistical methods and quality-control tools for the analysis of Genome-Wide Omics data.
