Emmanuel Ortega-Robles
Emmanuel Ortega-Robles was born in 1985 in Mexico City, Mexico. He received his B.S. degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN) in 2010, followed by M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Bioelectronics from the Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados del IPN in 2012 and 2018, respectively. Currently, he serves as a researcher in medical sciences at Instituto Nacional de Rehabilitación Luis Guillermo Ibarra Ibarra in Mexico City. Since 2020, Dr. Ortega-Robles has been a member of the National System of Researchers of Mexico (SNII-I). His research interests span a range of interdisciplinary areas, including biomedical engineering, electrophysiology, signal analysis, neuroscience, movement disorders, sleep disorders, neurophysiology, functional foods, and the development of instruments for measuring physiological variables.
