Paul Revill

Paul Revill is Professor of Health Economics and Head of the Global Health Team at the Centre for Health Economics, University of York. He is Director of the Thanzi Programme, an international research and policy initiative that supports evidence-informed priority setting, health financing and health system planning in the East, Central and Southern Africa (ECSA) region. His research focuses on the development and application of innovative health economic methods to inform resource allocation. His work is motivated by policy needs and aims to support better decision-making that improves population health. This involves working in close partnership with ministry of health planning departments, local academia and other community stakeholders.
