Ciara J Molloy

I am a Senior Research Fellow at Trinity College Dublin and an Affiliate Research Associate at King's College London. My research focuses on the in-depth characterisation of clinical, behavioural and neural phenotypes in rare genetic conditions associated with autism. I use multi-methodological approaches (MRI, EEG, eye-tracking, neurocognitive and neuropsychological measures) to examine brain and behavioural development to better understand the biological and clinical heterogeneity. A key part of my research is the involvement and collaboration with people with lived experience to ensure that my research reflect the priorities and perspectives of individuals and their families. My ultimate goal is to refine clinically informative, reliable, and valid measures and support tools to help improve care pathways for people with rare genetic and neurodevelopmental conditions.
