Boris B. Quednow
Boris B. Quednow studied psychology at the University of Bonn. He wrote his dissertation on the neurobiological consequences of ecstasy (MDMA) use at the Ruhr-University of Bochum, Germany, and worked as a research assistant at the Department of Psychiatry of the University of Bonn, Germany, and Zurich, Switzerland. At present, he is a Full Professor for Experimental Pharmacopsychology and Psychological Addiction Research at the University Hospital of Psychiatry Zurich of the University of Zurich. His main research interests are the behavioural neurotoxicology of illegal substance use, the neurochemistry and genetics of diverse addiction endophenotyps, and the neurobiology of disturbed cognitive functions in substance use and addiction.
