Kisembo Harriet Nalubega
Harriet Kisembo is a highly experienced healthcare professional (Senior Consultant Radiologist) with over three decades of dedicated service at Mulago National Referral and Teaching Hospital. Throughout her career, she has played a vital role in patient care and clinical practice, contributing significantly to the delivery of healthcare services in resource-limited settings. She currently serves as Head of Clinical Research and Continuous Professional Development at Ernest Cook University, Kampala, Uganda, where she leads initiatives focused on strengthening research capacity, advancing evidence-based practice, and promoting continuous professional training among healthcare professionals. Her professional and research interests span medical imaging of infectious diseases, and evidence-based practice. She has been actively engaged in radiology work related to tuberculosis (TB) and HIV, as well as non-communicable diseases including lung cancer and breast cancer. Her work emphasizes the appropriate use of diagnostic imaging, particularly in improving clinical decision-making and reducing unnecessary radiation exposure.
