Adina-Elena Segneanu

Dr Adina-Elena Segneanu holds an MSc. (2020) in Physics (Physics and technology of advanced materials) at West University of Timisoara and a PhD (2007) in Chemistry (Organic Chemistry) at the University Politehnica Timisoara, Romania. Her work focuses specifically on bioactive compounds, particularly the extraction, isolation and chemical screening of metabolites profiles from different plant species. She has worked on several scientific projects in the field of environmental protection. Dr Segneanu research includes the design and development of advanced materials for food security into a circular economy.
