Dinu ȚURCANU

Dinu Țurcanu is Vice-Rector for Digital Transformation and Institutional Development and an Associate Professor at the Technical University of Moldova (https://utm.md/). He is also an engineer and cybersecurity expert with over two decades of experience in IT and systems engineering. Dr. Țurcanu holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and has multiple Cisco, Mikrotik, CompTIA, E-Council's and HPE certifications. His research interests in ICT span cybersecurity, network engineering, and digital transformation in higher education, having published more than 150 scientific works and patents in engineering. With 22 years of experience in ICT and 14 years in administration and management, Dr. Țurcanu has consistently demonstrated his ability to bridge complex technical concepts with practical applications. His work has contributed significantly to advancing network security and IT infrastructure in both academic and professional settings.
