Researcher profile
David Salman
I am a specialty trainee in Sport and Exercise Medicine in the London Deanery, and formerly an Imperial College London Post-Doctoral, Post-CCT clinical research fellow (IPPRF) working between the School of Public Health and the MSk lab. I combine my research in physical activity with clinical work in sport, exercise and musculoskeletal medicine. I was previously a Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Fellow at Imperial College London, where I completed a PhD in mechanobiology; and an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow at Imperial College school of primary care. I have just completed an Imperial Post-doctoral Post-CCT Research Fellow at Imperial College London (IPPRF), with research interests in physical activity epidemiology, and the biomechanics of frailty, falls and balance disorders in concussion. I have developed clinical skills in academic, pre-hospital emergency, and primary care medicine, which combine to help me develop as a musculoskeletal clinician
