Carlos Rojas-Roque
Originally from Nicaragua, Carlos Rojas is a health economist that is interested in the development and application of mathematical and computational decision-making models to provide evidence and inform health policy decisions over the allocation of scarce resources in low- and middle-income settings. He has undertaken economic evaluations and budget impact analysis in a wide range of medical fields including oncology, cardiology, skin disorders and diseases related to women’s and child health. In addition, Carlos has worked on estimating both the direct medical costs and the indirect costs associated with non-communicable diseases and infectious diseases by applying different methodological approaches.
