Ahmed Fattah Abdulrahman
Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Fattah Abdulrahman is the Dean of Technical Institute of Amedi, and researcher at Duhok Polytechnic University. He was the Editor-in-Chief at the Science Journal of the University of Zakho and the Head of the Department of Physics at the University of Zakho. His research focuses on Nanotechnology and Materials Science. Especially his research focuses on fabricating high-performance optoelectronic nanodevices, including UV sensors, gas sensors, pH sensors, Schottky diodes, and solar cells using methods such as Chemical Bath Deposition (CBD), Sol-Gel, Hydrothermal techniques, and green synthesis. Dr. Abdulrahman has served on dozens of academic committees, including scientific, exam, quality assurance, and postgraduate evaluation committees across multiple universities. He has been an invited speaker and participant in numerous international conferences and workshops, including events in Malaysia, Germany, and across Iraq. He is a member of the Kurdish Physician Syndicate and maintains active research profiles on Google Scholar, ORCID, ResearchGate, Scopus, and Web of Science. He has authored or co-authored over 45 peer-reviewed publications (with several more in progress as of 2026) in high-impact international journals, including Nanomaterials, ACS Omega, Crystals, and the Journal of Materials Science: Materials in Electronics. His work is well-cited, and he is an active peer reviewer for numerous scientific journals.
