Francis Beaudry
Francis Beaudry is Full Professor of analytical pharmacology at the Faculté de médecine vétérinaire, Université de Montréal, and Chair of the Département de biomédecine vétérinaire. He holds the Canada Research Chair (Tier 1) in Metrology of Bioactive Molecules and Target Discovery. His research addresses pain pharmacology, the neurochemistry of nociceptive transmission, proteomics and mass spectrometry. His team combines cutting-edge proteomics with in vivo pharmacology to perform phenotype-to-proteotype assessments, dissecting disease-specific signatures and treatment strategies. He is a member of the CIRCA, CRIPA, RQRM and RQRD research centres and networks, and has been funded since 2009 by NSERC, FRQ, CIHR, CFI, and the Canada Research Chairs Program.
