Dana Ben-Ami Shor

Dr. Ben-Ami Shor, MD, is a renowned expert in invasive endoscopy and gastroenterology at Tel-Aviv Medical Center, Israel. She earned her M.D. with honors in 2008 from the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. Dr. Ben-Ami Shor further specialized in internal medicine and gastroenterology at Sheba Medical Center in Israel. Her dedication to excellence led her to complete an advanced endoscopy fellowship accredited by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) at the Center for Interventional Endoscopy at AdventHealth in Florida. Dr. Ben-Ami Shor possesses expertise in both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). Throughout her career, Dr. Ben-Ami Shor has been actively engaged in clinical and basic research since 2003. Her research endeavors have centered on innovative treatments, autoimmune diseases, pancreatic diseases, biliary diseases, obesity, mechanisms of action, epidemiology, and the natural course of the diseases under study. She has an impressive publication record, having authored over 45 scholarly articles, including 35 original research papers, 7 comprehensive reviews, and 3 book chapters. Her exemplary contributions to research were recognized with the ISIM Prize for Excellent Research Activity. In addition to her research and clinical work, Dr. Ben-Ami Shor was selected for the Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) ASGE Program and successfully completed the Artificial Intelligence in Health Care executive program at MIT Sloan School of Management. Since 2022, Dr. Ben-Ami Shor has been serving as a valued member of the ASGE international DDW clinical symposia committee. She is also an active member of the Israeli Interventional Endoscopy Committee (IGA), contributing her expertise to further the field of gastroenterology and endoscopy.
