Biologist graduated from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU, 1996-2000), with a Master's degree in Genetics and Biochemistry from the Institute of Genetics and Biochemistry (INGEB/UFU, 2000-2002) and a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the Ribeirão Preto Medical School at the University of São Paulo (FMRP/USP, 2005-2009). Completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Molecular Neuropharmacology at FMRP, a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Neuroscience at The Salk Institute for Biological Studies, CA, USA (2011), and a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Molecular Physiology at Saarland University, SA, Germany (2012). Currently, is Titular Researcher at the Oswaldo Cruz Institute-FIOCRUZ. He has experience in the fields of Pharmacology, Physiology, Molecular Neuropsychopharmacology, Immunology, Genetics, and Biochemistry, with a focus on the molecular pharmacology of psychotropic drugs.
