Researcher profile
David Aceituno
I am an early career researcher with a background in mental health and health economics. I completed a speciality training in adult psychiatry in Santiago, Chile and a PhD in Health Economics at King's College London, UK. My research interests are developing ways to improve the effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, and equity of interventions for people with mental illness in low- and middle-income countries. I use advanced research synthesis methods and decision-analytical techniques such as economic modelling and microsimulation as research tools.
