Neurobiologist, pharmacologist. Editor and author of the book "Cannabinoids and the Brain" (2008) Springer-Verlag (http://www.springer.com/biomed/neuroscience/book/978-0-387-74348-6). Teaches both undergraduate, master and PhD students at the University of Coimbra. Invited lecturer at other universities and at international scientific events. Holds a Good Laboratory Practice certificate, and a FELASA Cat. C permission to plan and conduct animal research. Dr. Attila Köfalvi is dedicated to minimize the impact of his research on the well-being of laboratory animals with maximizing the informations obtained from animal experiments.
