Cleophas Chimbetete
Dr Chimbetete was trained in medicine at the University of Zimbabwe and completed his training in 1998. He has worked for over 25 years in various capacities serving the public and private health system in Zimbabwe. Currently he serves as the Research and Training Director for Ruedi Luethy Foundation, Newlands clinic in Zimbabwe. He has co-authored over 60 publications in peer reviewed journals. His research work is predominantly around answering key epidemiological questions in the field of HIV and Tuberculosis. He is an adjunct lecturer with the faculty of medicine of the University of Zimbabwe for both undergraduate and post graduate students. He also serves as one of the Principal Investigators of the Southern Africa IeDEA collaboration.
