I am a public health professional with an extensive academic and research background in health systems strengthening, disease surveillance, and public health policy. Holding a PhD from the University of Pretoria with focused expertise in health systems and policy, I have applied this knowledge to enhance healthcare delivery systems in low-resource settings, particularly through my work on neglected tropical diseases. My career is marked by a series of successful roles in academia and consulting, including a recent postdoctoral fellowship at the United Nations University International Institute for Global Health, where I led significant projects on gender-inclusive research and stakeholder engagement.
