Nicholas Lintzeris
Professor Nicholas Lintzeris is an Addiction Medicine Specialist with over 30 years clinical and research experience. He is a Foundation Fellow of the Chapter of Addiction Medicine, Royal Australasian College Physicians (since 2002), and current President of the Chapter of Addiction Medicine (RACP). He is the Director of Drug and Alcohol Services in South East Sydney Local Health District, that includes The Langton centre, the oldest Alcohol and other Drug treatment service in Australia (founded 1959). He is a Conjoint Professor in the Department of Addiction Medicine, Unniversityv of Sydney. He was the Foundation Chair of the NSW Drug and Alcohol Clinical Research and Improvement Netwrok (DACRIN) from 2017-21. He has led numerous research projects, with over $40 Million of career grant funding and over 200 peer review publications. His particular interests are in the development and evaluation of pharmacotherapies in the management of substance use disorders.
