Mihaela Hăbeanu

PhD Mihaela HĂBEANU, senior researcher 1 in the animal nutrition field, has a rich scientifically experience (more than 27 years).From a managerial point of view, in 2010 -2020 PhD Habeanu become head of Animal Nutrition Laboratory, in 2014 – 2019 Habeanu was Coordinator of Biotechnology Laboratory activities and starting on May 2020 up to oct. 2022, she leads Animal Nutrition and Biotechnology Laboratory. She currently works at Research Station for Sericulture Baneasa Bucharest, in sericulture field. In her area of interest, an important place takes up the studies regarding interrelation between nutritional factors and insects / animal metabolic response, the implication on health status, dietary manipulation, products quality, digestibility and animal performances. In the same way, using silkworm by-products in animal feeding and ways of valorization with focus on pupae.
