Efison Dhodho

I am a Physician Researcher and public health systems innovator with over 15 years of experience leading large-scale health transformation I initiatives across Africa, funded by Government, Department of State USG, the World Bank, The Global Financing Facility, gates Foundation and the Wellcome Trust. My expertise lies at the intersection of clinical care, data systems, and policy, designing and implementing scalable digital health platforms that improve population health outcomes in resource-constrained settings. Currently completing a PhD at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (Wellcome Trust–funded), my research focuses on Learning Health Systems and co-production of chronic disease electronic health records work that directly aligns with U.S. priorities on multimorbidity, health equity, and digital integration. Recognized by USAID’s Global Digi Award, the UC Berkeley Global Health Fellowship, and the UK High Potential Individual Visa, I bring a proven track record of designing systems that empower communities, enhance data-driven decision-making, and strengthen health delivery systems.
