Drew R. Nannini, DO, PhD, is a Hematology/Oncology fellow at the University of Kansas Medical Center. His research focuses on translational hematologic malignancies, with an emphasis on DNA methylation, epigenetic biomarkers of biological aging, and precision oncology. His work investigates how host biological factors interact with tumor genomics to influence prognosis and treatment outcomes in acute myeloid leukemia, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, CAR T-cell therapy, and immunotherapy. His long-term goal is to integrate molecular epidemiology and translational research to improve prognostication and develop personalized therapeutic strategies for patients with hematologic cancers.
