Monika Müller

As clinician scientist with board-certificates in Psychiatry and Public Health I bridge clinical practice, research, and public health. My vision centers on creating innovative models of integrated care for patients with serious mental illnesses - a highly vulnerable group facing significant health disparities. I bring extensive experience in clinical psychiatry, community-based mental health care and global mental health initiatives. Passionate about mental health and resulting social and health inequalities I have a deep commitment to translate research into practical solutions for the benefit of my patients. I am leading pioneering research initiatives that develop culturally sensitive and accessible mental health interventions for underserved populations in the Global South. As a social entrepreneur, I founded delta – develop life through action, a nonprofit organization strengthening mental health care in South India.
