Chris Kypridemos
Dr Chris Kypridemos is a Senior Lecturer in Public Health Informatics and Data Science at the University of Liverpool, specialising in epidemiological simulation modelling for health policy. Originally trained as a medical doctor, he has focused his career on developing advanced microsimulation methods to guide prevention and healthcare planning. Over the past decade, he has led the development of IMPACTncd, a dynamic health policy microsimulation framework applied to major public health challenges in England and deployed in countries including Japan, Brazil, Germany, and the United States. His research has informed national and local decision-making bodies and supports efforts to improve cardiovascular and stroke outcomes while addressing health inequalities.
