Daniel Śliż
In 2006, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical Academy in Warsaw. Internal medicine specialist (2013) and public health (2019). Qualified specialist of the International Board of Life Style Medicine (2018). He obtained the doctoral degree in medical sciences in 2011 at the Medical University of Warsaw on the basis of the dissertation entitled Standards for the Use of Statins in Poland in the light of the results of the "3ST-POL" study promoted by Artur Mamcarz. Professionally associated with the 3rd Department of Internal Diseases and Cardiology of the Medical University of Warsaw and the School of Public Health of the Medical Center of Postgraduate Education. Co-founder and president of the Polish Society of Lifestyle Medicine. A board member of the Prevention and Epidemiology Section of the Polish Cardiac Society and a board member of the Sports Cardiology Section of the Polish Cardiac Society. Member of the Senate of the Medical University of Warsaw in the 2016-2020 term. Young Ambassador of the European Association of Preventive Cardiology in the 2020-2022 term. In 2020, elected the scientific secretary of the Public Health Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Author or co-author of nearly 50 publications and conference reports. The editor, together with Artur Mamcarz, of the first textbook of lifestyle medicine in Polish, the monograph Ultrazdrowie and the monograph How to live, sir? (three parts: Soma, Matriks and Psyche) and the guide How to healthy eat, move, love and sleep.
