Davide Bassani

I am working as a DMPK-PD Project Leader in the pRED department of the Roche Innovation Center, Basel, Switzerland. Thanks to my previous experiences, comprising a Ph.D. in Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD), an industrial internship in Machine Learning for secondary pharmacology, and a PostDoc focusing on in silico methods for preclinical and clinical PK prediction, my expertise comprises a variety of computational techniques applied to the fields of Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Discovery. Over the years, I continued to develop my passion for computational approaches applicable to the pharmaceutical scenario (specifically focusing on SBDD, Machine Learning, and AI), and together with that, my interest and passion for DMPK and PK-PD grew exponentially. I really enjoy collaborating on portfolio projects, and I already had the opportunity to team up with great scientists to develop novel molecular entities and provide innovative therapeutic solutions to patients.
