Catherine Abbo

By basic training, I am a graduate of human medicine (M.B.ch B). I also have a Master of Medicine in Psychiatry and a PhD. I am a clinical academician with experience in research, teaching and clinical work. My mine area of research has been mental illness and culture. Currently I have expanded my research interests to include child and adolescent psychiatry and mental health. I have completed two year training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital and University of Cape Town and passed the College of Medicine of South Africa exit examination in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
