Cheryl L Currie

I am Director of the Interfaculty Program in Public Health and Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University. As a social epidemiologist, my research is focused on the ways in which our social experiences, both positive and negative, get under the skin to shape our health, health-risk behaviour, and stress biology, with a special focus on substance abuse.
