Ingunn Olea Lund

I am a research professor at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health. My work focuses on psychiatric epidemiology and public health, with a focus on how genes and environments shape mental health outcomes such as substance use, anxiety, depression, stress, and sleep problems. I also study the longer-term mental health consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. My most recent line of research focuses on user involvement in psychiatric epidemiology, including the Stiftelsen Dam–funded project "A model for user involvement in epidemiological mental health research" (original Norwegian title: En modell for brukermedvirkning i epidemiologisk psykisk helseforskning). The project is conducted in collaboration with Mental Helse. I also teach and supervise in health psychology.
