Thomas Callender

I am an Assistant Research Professor (Clinical) at the University of Cambridge, Honorary Consultant in Public Health Medicine at Cambridge University Hospitals, and Faculty Member of the Cambridge Centre for AI in Medicine. I am also a member of the UK National Screening Committee (NSC) Multi-Cancer Detection Task Group and the NSC Research and Methodology Group in the Department of Health and Social Care, where I contribute to the development of policy in screening. I trained in medicine in Manchester, Oxford, and London before specialising in public health. Prior to joining Cambridge, I was a senior clinical research fellow at UCL and public health registrar.
