Davyson Moreira

Researcher at Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, working on the development of Phytomedicines in the Department of Natural Products of Farmanguinhos. Collaborate with research projects at the Laboratory of Environmental Toxicology of ENSP-FIOCRUZ, being responsible for the routines of analytical toxicology. Works in teaching activities as an effective member of the Graduate Program in Plant Biology of UERJ (responsible for student orientation and discipline coordinator). Has extensive experience in the area of Chemistry of ​​Natural Product and drug analysis, with works in the following sub-areas: phytotherapeutic development; prospecting of substances with biological activity in plant species (Piperaceae, Salicaceae, Passifloraceae); GC-MS analyzes, HPLC-MS-MS and NMR analysis; pharmacokinetic and metabolism studies (CYPs) on natural and synthetic compounds. Coordinates projects in the areas of analysis of essential oils, search for new antitumor agents and leishmanicides.
