Endocannabinoids mediate muscarine-induced synaptic depression at the vertebrate neuromuscular junction.

Endocannabinoids (eCBs) inhibit neurotransmitter release throughout the central nervous system. Using the Ceratomandibularis muscle from the lizard Anolis carolinensis we asked whether eCBs play a similar role at the vertebrate neuromuscular junction.
