Abstract Human cancers accumulate various mutations during development and consist of highly heterogeneous cell populations. This phenomenon is called intratumor heterogeneity (ITH). ITH is known to be involved in tumor growth, progression, invasion, and metastasis, presenting obstacles to accurate diagnoses and effective treatments.
