A pan-cancer landscape of centromere proteins in tumorigenesis and anticancer drug sensitivity
Abstract CENPs activated the cell cycle signaling pathway and inhibited the RAS/MAPK, hormone ER and hormone AR pathways. CENP family genes was significantly correlated with a poor prognosis for cancer patients. Highly heterogeneous genetic variation in CENP family genes across cancers. CENP family gene expression was correlated with chemosensitivity and immunotherapy responses.
